Lifetouch Photo Retakes:  Photo Retakes will be on Friday, November 13th starting at 9:30 am for students attending in-class instruction. (For Remote Learner photos, on this same morning, please see the section below called REMOTE LEARNER INFORMATION.)  This session is for students who missed having their photos done last time or for those that wish a retake photo.  Students having retakes are asked to return their Lifetouch Photo Proof package to the photographer.

Cordova Bay Garden:  It is time to put the garden to bed for the winter.  Please collect and bring leaves to school for garden mulch.  Once they are bagged, leaves can be tossed over the fence.  Students will help to mulch the garden with them for the winter.  If you have any large pieces of cardboard, we could use those as well.  Please feel free to visit the garden after school hours and harvest some food for your families, or those in need.  Thank you!  Ms. Challinor

Reporting of Student Absences:  A friendly reminder for families to ensure that you contact the school Safe Arrival Line at 250 658-4002 if your child will be absent from school.  Please indicate your child’s first and last name and teacher.   If you’re child will be away for more than one day, please ensure that you call of all the days that your child will be away.  Thank you!

Wet Weather Preparedness:    A reminder to parents/guardians to have their children dressed appropriately to go outside as most days children will go outdoors for their breaks.  Rubber boots, waterproof jackets and rain pants are suggested especially if your child likes to play in/near the puddles!  Please send in their backpacks a full change of clothes should they need to change.
