We hope that you will join us in recognizing two important days dedicated to understanding more about autism.

Tuesday, April 1, 2014 has been set aside as a day when we remember that students who have autism can sometimes be ones who don't recognize when a situation is safe or unsafe.  At times, 'wandering' is something that they can do.  This can become a dangerous situation and some have lost their lives due to that wandering.  Please make the effort to remember those who have lost their lives 'due to wandering' on April 1.

Wednesday, April 2, 2014 has been designated as World Autism Day.  One of the ways that the world is celebrating this is through a "Light it up Blue" campaign.  We would encourage all to wear the colour blue on that day.  As well, we would encourage everyone to complete a random act of kindness!  We hope that the kindnesses shown on that day will continue throughout April and the rest of the year.  Thank you for your support.  smile
