During the week of May 20-23 students and staff at Cordova Bay Elementary are encouraged to donate to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) which is dedicated to finding a cure for Type 1 diabetes. For every $2 donation, a paper shoe will be provided. It's our hope that the Cordova Bay Community can 'walk' around the inside of the school with all of the donations.
On Saturday, May 24, there is a family Fun Day being hosted by the families of the "Cordova Bay Kids for the Cure" at Cordova Bay Elementary. All proceeds will be donated to JDRF.
Time: 2:00-5:-00 pm
This fund raising event includes a bouncy castle, bbq, face painting and other activities. Everyone is welcome so please bring your friends and neighbours.
