This message is to inform Saanich School District families that rotating strikes are occurring again throughout BC with Saanich being affected on Friday, June 13.
As well, the BCTF is holding a province-wide strike vote on Monday, June 9 and Tuesday, June 10 to decide whether or not to escalate to Phase 3 strike action. Phase 3 includes additional strike days up to an including a full shutdown of schools. We are aware that the current uncertainty is causing disruption for families and are hoping for a resolution as soon as possible. We encourage you to keep informed through news media and the School District and school websites.
