Active and Safe Routes to School – School Travel Survey

Cordova Bay Elementary is participating in the District of Saanich's Active and Safe Routes to School 2017-2018 program. The program provides tools for students to walk, cycle, or otherwise use active transportation for the school journey wherever possible.

In an effort to better understand families’ school travel choices, we’ve created an on-line survey that you can access from Mon, Oct 16 to Fri, Oct 27, 2017. The information gathered will help us to identify street improvements that support active transportation, as well as preferred routes for students to walk and bike to school. The results of your school survey will be available later in the winter.

To complete the survey go to: It will take less than 10 minutes to finish. One survey per family is all that’s required.

If you have any questions about the survey or the Active and Safe Routes to School program, contact Kate Berniaz, Active Transportation Program Manager, at
