SCHOOL NEWS...

Scholastic Book Fair:  Mrs. Bales and Ms. Jenkins would like to extend a huge thank-you to all the families who attended the Scholastic Book Fair.  Due to the overwhelming support of the Cordova Bay school community, we were able to raise over $3500 in Scholastic funds which will be used to purchase new books for the library.  Thank-you!!!

Coats for Kids (and Families):  We are collecting clean, gently used or new coats for kids (and families) until November 10.  Please consider donating to this great cause to help keep Victoria families warm this season! Coats can be dropped off in the marked box in the reception area by the office.

Choir:  For our November Remembrance Day assembly, choir students are asked to wear a white top and black pants or skirt.  Mrs. Heron understands how challenging it can be to buy clothes for children (she has two daughers!), so if a white shirt and black bottom is not possible, then something close would be just fine.  Assembly begins at 10:00 am.
