  • 1:30 pm - Christmas Concert Dress Rehearsal for Extended Family (Aunts/Uncles/Grandparents)

  • Craft Fair in Support of the Dirty Wall Project – Before the Christmas Concert

  • 6:00 pm - Christmas Concert for Parents/Guardians/Immediate Family

SCHOOL NEWS...

Cordova Bay Christmas Concerts:  Cordova Bay families are invited to join us for one of our two Christmas concerts on Thursday, December 13th!  Due to limited gym capacity, we are offering two Christmas concerts:

    • 1:30 pm - Christmas Concert Dress Rehearsal for Extended Family (Aunts/Uncles/Grandparents)

    • 6:00 pm - Christmas Concert for Parents/Guardians/Immediate Family

Cordova Bay Sponsors a Craft Fair in Support of the Dirty Wall Project:  In support of children and families living in the Saki Naka slum of Mumbai India.  Please consider purchasing a handmade gift by Saki Naka residents, in support of education, medical services and other essential needs for their community.   The Craft Fair will be open:

  • Thursday, Dec. 13 - Before the Christmas Concert
  • Wednesday, Dec. 19 - After School (Chai will be served.)
  • Week of December 17-21: Before school and at lunch

IMPORTANT – Reporting of Student Absences:  A friendly reminder for families to ensure that you contact the school Safe Arrival Line at 250 658-4002 if your child will be absent from school.  If you’re child will be away for more than one day, please ensure that you call each day that your child is absent or indicate the days your child will be away.  Thank you!

Red Barn Card Orders - Deadline Friday, Dec 14:  Don't forget to get your Red Barn Cards before winter break. Deadline is Friday. Delivery to your child's class: Monday/Tuesday, Dec 17/18.

Purdy’s PickUp - Friday, Dec 14:  If you missed Monday’s pickup and haven’t arranged an alternate pickup time, we will be outside the office on Friday (2:30-3pm) to grab your chocolates.

Parent Social - Silent Auction/Casino Night - Saturday, Feb 23, 2019:  Your dedicated PAC Executive is busy planning an evening to remember. We are seeking 30 Bottles of Wine to create something special for the event. COMMUNITY NEWS...

CanSkate:  This winter, join Canada’s best learn-to-skate program – CanSkate! Offered by Peninsula Figure Skating Club, this program is a dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. Taught by our NCCP coaches, the program develops skating skills for hockey, figure skating, speed skating and recreational skating. For beginners of all ages, as well as for those wishing to improve their basic skills. Programming qualifies for KidSport and Jumpstart funding. Cordova Bay Softball Club:  Save the date!  Registration for the 2019 softball season (April-June) at the Cordova Bay Softball Club opens on January 7, 2019. Cordova Bay Softball Club offers free registration for players on the Learn to Play, Under 6, Under 8 and Under 10 teams.  Go to:   http://cordova-bay-fastball.sportssignup.com/site/ to register. This is a great opportunity to try a team sport, get some fresh air and meet new friends.
