SCHOOL NEWS...
Please Use Caution Around School Grounds: With the snow melting and freezing temperatures over night, please use caution around the school grounds. District work crews and school Administrators are working to ensure that cleared pathways are salted. Children are also reminded to please stay away from the tree areas that have been closed due to fallen branches.
Heart Beat Hop, Friday, March 1st, 9:00 a.m.: Please join us Friday, March 1st on the back blacktop for a whole School Fundraiser in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Students will run or hop their way to earning valuable funds to support the 2019 Jump Rope for Heart Campaign! A fundraising pledge envelope will be sent home this week; however, if you do wish to donate, we encourage you to do so online, as it is fast and easy:

We thank you for supporting your child with their fundraising goal and kindly thank those families who are able to support Cordova Bay School’s 2019 fundraising efforts! The last day to return pledge envelopes or make an online donation is Friday, March 1st.
Please note that the school has opted out of receiving prizes for our fundraising efforts. Our goal is to foster a sense of community and intrinsic motivation to support a good cause with this combined jump rope/running event. We thank you for supporting your child with this goal.

If you’re child will be away for more than one day, please ensure that you call of all the days that you child will be away.

Silent Auction/Casino Fundraiser: THIS SATURDAY!!! IT's NOT TOO LATE, get your tickets at the Office before Saturday for $25 or at event for $30.
Location: Beach House Restaurant, Doors Open: 6:30pm, Casino: 7-10pm

New Fundraiser - Hudson Wren Portraits: Something new for families to try. Get photos in time for Easter/Mother's Day or Father's Day. Promotional Bookmark will be coming home in your child's communication folder. See our recent PAC newsletter for all the details. In a nutshell: $95 for a photo session and 10" matted fine art print. (100% of this fee goes back to our school) If 10 families participate, that's $950 that goes directly to our kids.
