June 27th

Last Day of School!  (School is from 8:40 to 2:48 pm)

Year-End and Grade 5 Farewell Assembly, 9:00-10:30 am in the gym.  Everyone welcome!

Reminders for Parents:

  • Families are encouraged to bring FOOD DONATIONS for our local food banks to the assembly.
  • Families are reminded to take one last check of the LOST & FOUND ITEMS on the tables, floor and coat racks by the gym.  There are a lot of clothing items still to be claimed.  ALL items not claimed will be donated to charity.
  • MEDICATIONS or EPIPENS - If you will be taking your child home after the assembly and they have medications or EPIPENS in the classroom or at the office, please remember to pick them up before you leave.

 Have a WONDERFUL summer!  See you in September!



Food Bank Donations:  In recognition of the need by our local food banks for donations at this time of the year, we would like to encourage families to drop off a non-perishable food item to the table in the hall near the gym either tomorrow or bring it to the school assembly on Thursday.   Thank you for your support in this. 

Lost & Found Items: There are a lot of items in the Lost & Found! Please come into the school during drop-off or pick-up or check the items out before/after the school assembly on Thursday.  Items not claimed by the end of day on Thursday will be donated to charity.

Bus Registration for 2019-20 is NOW OPEN:  To register click HERE.  Students must be registered by July 15th, 2019 to ensure a seat on the bus for September 2019.

PAC On-Line School Supply Ordering for 2019-20:  On-line ordering is now OPEN for ordering School Supplies for the 2019-20 school year.  Monk Office provides 10% of the on-line sales of school supply kits to our school Parent Advisory Committee (PAC).  If you wish, families can order and pay on-line for their child’s school supplies and they will be delivered to school the first week of September and sorted by PAC parent volunteers.  ONLINE ORDERING ENDS JULY 23RD. See the attached PDF for more information.  Printed copies of the supply lists are now available at the school office.

Reminders for Parents:

  • Families Leaving Cordova Bay Elementary School:  Please let the office know at (250)-658-5315 or if you’re child will not be returning to Cordova Bay Elementary for the 2019-20 school year.  We are currently building classes and monitoring our numbers closely.
