SCHOOL NEWS...

Reminders for PAC Hot Lunch Days:  A reminder for families/guardians that if you order Hot Lunch for your child, please remember to send a snack as well!

Wet Weather Preparedness:  As we get more wet weather, families are asked to have their children dressed appropriately to go outside as most days children will go outdoors for their breaks.  Rubber boots, waterproof jackets and rain pants are suggested especially if your child likes to play in/near the puddles!  A full change of clothes in their backpacks is also helpful should they need to change.

Cell Phones:  We ask that students keep cell phones in their backpacks while on school grounds (before, during and after school). Some students are easily able to manage appropriate use of phones, while others are just learning how to manage this particular technology when they are unsupervised. Thank you for discussing this expectation with your child, if they do carry a cell phone to school. Please note that we do have a phone available for student use just outside the school office.

Ready, Set, Learn Open House:  Wednesday, October 16th, 3:30-6:00 pm, For Parents and preschoolers (3 years and up).  See attached PDF for more information.

Utensils for Eating Snacks & Lunches:  A reminder for families to please pack utensils for your child so they are able to eat their snack or lunch!

Reporting of Student Absences:  A friendly reminder for families to ensure that you contact the school Safe Arrival Line at 250 658-4002 if your child will be absent from school.  If you’re child will be away for more than one day, please ensure that you call of all the days that your child will be away.  This is a huge help to the Safe Arrival Parent Volunteers.   Thank you!
