Cordova Bay Families,
Emily Peltier, the Head Horticulturist at Cordova Bay Golf Course and Shannon Schubert, a parent and Master Organic Gardener in my class have graciously offered to help us in the garden this year. They will be harvesting the edible greens in the garden on Friday and will have them for available at a Pop up Produce Sale by donation on Friday after school near the garden. Please come by and enjoy some of the greens your children have planted and others that have self-seeded over the fall. Use them in salads and green smoothies! All donations will go back to our garden.
We also have a call out for leaves that we will use for mulching the garden. If you can gather some leaves and put them in a bag, just toss them over the fence or feel welcome to come in and put them in the leave cage that Emily built for us.
