Student Device Loan Program: This week SD63 is offering two pick-up locations for students to borrow devices from the school district. The device loan program is targeted to families who do not have access to any devices (laptops, Chromebook, or desktop computers.) Families who need an additional device, or a more reliable device can register here: https://www.sd63.bc.ca/student-device-request
The attached document has details about the Student Device Loan Program. This information was also sent out via classroom teachers on April 7th. Note that families are welcome at either site as there are equal numbers of devices at both sites. Wherever possible, please travel to the site closest to your home.
Refunds for Online Hot Lunch Orders: Healthy Hunger will be issuing refunds for online hot lunch orders. As you can well imagine this is a huge effort as they deal with many schools across Canada. Cordova Bay's next hot lunch was scheduled for April 24, so those that ordered lunches online for that date will see refunds in a few weeks. They will move forward on refunds from there.
