Dear Parents/Guardians of Cordova Bay Kindergarten students,
Re: REVISED Kindergarten Gradual Entry Plan for September 2020
Welcome new Cordova Bay Kindergarten Families! Further to the email we sent your family in the spring, this letter is to provide you with your child’s REVISED Kindergarten Gradual Entry Schedule for September 2020.
K Orientation: CANCELLED – The tentatively booked orientation session from 11:00-12:00 on Tuesday, September 8th due to revisions around health and safety, has been cancelled.
Gradual Entry Schedule: Your child was assigned a GROUP A, B or C, for gradual entry purposes, in the former spring plan sent to you by our school secretary Mrs. Tammy Cowley. Your child’s grouping, assigned in the spring, remains the same for the revised schedule below (A, B or C). We are happy to resend your child’s grouping, for your reference, if you are unsure or perhaps did not receive it in the spring. Here is a summary of the REVISED gradual entry schedule. All children attend every day of the gradual entry period in their assigned group A, B or C: September 11, 14, 15, 16 and 17. PLEASE meet at the front of school on Sept 11th.

- Wednesday the 16th (8:40-1:00 First partial day with whole class)
- Thursday the 17th (8:40-1:00 Second partial day with whole class)
- Friday the 18th 8:40-2:48 (First full day with whole class)
K students will be further grouped in a cohort of no more than 60 students. They will meet the students in their cohort over the course of gradual entry.
Information Items: The school office is closed for the summer from July 6 to August 28 and reopens on Monday, August 31st. For further updates regarding school start-up and Kindergarten information, parents are asked to visit our school website and subscribe to our forums (Parents – Subscriptions – Subscribe to School News – General News & Announcements.)
