A reminder to all families that tomorrow, Thursday September 30th, all schools will be closed for National Truth and Reconciliation Day.
As per Superintendent Dave Eberwein's post, the school district’s Indigenous Education department has identified some excellent learning resources in support of September 29th and 30th:

As per my message yesterday, please do reach out to us at the school, if you have questions or are seeking further information. My staff and I spent an incredible day of learning together on Monday at our district-wide session on Reimagining Schools as Places of Healing - Truth and Reconciliation Through Education. As Kevin Lamoureux stated in his keynote address, educators have been given a gift to be part of the solutions through education and creating awareness. Cordova Bay staff are keen to walk this path of truth with our community.
