It consists of a series of three FREE workshops for parents who want to understand the best approach in supporting their child in learning to read. Based upon research, the program was designed in 2015 and has been repeatedly taught and measured for its impact upon families through five elementary schools. The three weeks cover the following content:

  • Week 1 Creating the right home environment to support your child

The program is taught by Dr. Orla Colgate whose PhD is from the University of Sydney, Australia. Spaces for the program are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you are a Kindergarten to Grade 2 parent and you are interested in attending, or have any questions concerning it, please email Orla at orlacolgate@shaw.ca
