Access to the School: In working closely with both district and school Health and Safety Teams, we have established safe, priority access to the school to pick up essential items. This past week, families with medications, such as epipens and inhalers, etc. stored at the school were invited to connect with admin directly or via the classroom teacher to arrange for pickup of medications. Next week, if there are other essential items that families wish to access from the school, we invite you to contact admin directly (mheron@saanichschools.ca) or via the classroom teacher, in order to arrange for pickup. Please note that there is no expectation of families to retrieve any items from the school. We are happy to safely store student supplies and items until we are all able to be back in classrooms together.
In the coming weeks, there may also be an opportunity to pick up learning resources and other supplies provided by your child’s teacher(s). Please look for that communication in the coming days.
School Fish: We are looking for a temporary home for our school fish. You don't have to have fish experience to take these guys home and we will make sure you have all the information. Here are some details:
- About 15 Fresh Water Tropical Fish
- 15 Gallon or larger tank would work. (If you had one to use)
- Tank would need heater, filter and aerator (or we could supply)
- Easy Care
If you are interested or have more questions, please contact Holly at fangholly@gmail.com. Thank you for your consideration.
