School Access

Dear Cordova Bay Families,

I hope that you were all able to enjoy the incredible weather we had this long weekend. We are so fortunate to live on Vancouver Island. The views to the mountains, especially Mt. Baker, were simply breathtaking. I even caught a spectacular sunset in Brentwod Bay last night that was truly stunning.

For this week, please note the following re. school access:

In working closely with both district and school Health and Safety Teams, we have established safe, priority access to the school to pick up essential items. This past week, families with medications, such as epipens and inhalers, etc. stored at the school were invited to connect with admin directly or via the classroom teacher to arrange for  pickup of medications. This week, if there are other essential items that families wish to access from the school, we invite you to contact admin directly (mheron@saanichschools.ca) or via the classroom teacher, in order to arrange for pickup. Please note that there is no expectation of families to retrieve any items from the school. We are happy to safely store student supplies and items until we are all able to be back in classrooms together.

In the coming weeks, there may also be an opportunity to pick up learning resources and other supplies provided by your child’s teacher(s). Please look for that communication in the coming days.

Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding.

Kind regards,

Mrs. ML Heron
